8:30 Spelling: Write your list words into your spelling books using a different colour for the prefix or suffix. (I have highlighted examples in each list)
If you have the internet- Use QUIZLET to create your spelling list and dictionary definitions.
If you still have no internet use the class dictionaries or your laptop one.
9:20-Writing: Graduation Book
Start writing/ typing a draft about your time at Hawker Park for the graduation book.
Here are some tips/ guidelines:
Remember to introduce yourself. Who are you, do you have any nicknames, how long have you been at Hawker Park?
What are the things you love most in this world. Who are your friends, favourites- subjects, sports, teams, foods, animals, colour, interests outside of school, sports clubs, any pets, leadership positions etc
What faction are you in. What high school will you be attending
Include information about each of the year groups and teachers. Something you remember from the classes.
Your favourite or funniest memories. Any other highlights over the years (assemblies, camps, awards, raffles, discos, carnivals)
You can include ANY other information you think is relevant. You may also include a final quote that you like.
* Use punctuation
* Check your spelling

11:55- Prepare for your buddy (after lunch activity). You will be working on your animal reports. Pack and Tidy the classroom. Think about how you are going to complete the task with your buddy. Pearse and Selina make sure the green screen is set up.

Novel Study- Silent reading - adding information to your character sheet (in your file). If you can't find it rule up a piece of paper and start again.
